MARCORSYSCOM Awards InfoReliance Contract to Develop WebMASS

InfoReliance Corporation, a leading Northern Virginia information technology firm, announced today that it was selected by Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) to complete the enhancement of the Manpower Assignment Support System (MASS) current client-server version with a re-engineered Web-based version (WebMASS). InfoReliance developed MASS 2001 for the USMC Manpower and Reserve Affairs (M&RA) organization. MASS 2001 manages billets, monitors careers, and allows authorized users to place both enlisted Marines and Marine officers in new assignments. It provides an automated and integrated method for accessing information that is essential for making assignment and career management decisions. WebMASS will be based on a secure Internet-based architecture requiring no client-side install. The period of performance for this contract is one year.
